Red, white and blue is my theme this month, because red is the Rainbow Scrap Challenge color and it’s just in time. My project has been a WIP for quite a while, so I dragged out the various pieces I had and added a few more, like these HSTs.
This is how the collection of odd blocks and fabrics appeared.
How can I turn this into a Quilt of Valor? The optimal size is 60×60 inches or more, so it’s going to be piecing together a puzzle.
It’s going to take some fiddling with odd sizes to make these work together. Fortunately I have lots of red strips on hand to pair up with my whites.
I framed the largest block, 20 inches, with white and this really improved it.
So until next week have fun by joining me
