This is going to be an adventure for me in WordPress. My goal today is just to get a blog published, no matter how it turns out. Are you with me?
I’m also starting a new project. Even though it’s not directly related to Rainbow Scrap Challenge, I’m using my favorite color, turquoise, of course. (I’m also experimenting with this WordPress easy access to bold type, etc.) .
This project is a result of the charity quilt promotion by Sarah, who blogs at Confessions of a Fabric Addict. She had a giveaway as a thank you to those who donated Quilts. I was the recipient of a donation by Susan of Stitched by Susan, who will provide batting and long-arm Quilting for a lap quilt. This was the most generous offer of them all.
So I’ve decided to make a 60×60 wallhanging for my bedroom wall. After a recent purge of my stash I discovered I had two layer cake collections of beautiful batiks in purples and turquoise.
I’ve started on vertical strip piecing with a vague idea of a waterfall. This is my first row so far.
Still in a learning curve on this WordPress!
